This page will contain data on the various type's of grenades encountered and used througout the series. Pictures to follow if I can ever find them.


Name: M-26A1 Fragmentation Grenade

Weight: 1 lb.

Fuse Delay: 4 seconds.

Effective Radius: 30 yards.

Notes: Your standard issue grenade used by the US forces. Shaped like a baseball.


Name: M-27S Smoke

Weight: 14oz.

Fuse Delay: 2 Seconds

Effective Radius: 30 yards

Notes: Comes in a variety of colors, most common are green and blue. The grenade is shaped like a pop can. Most commonly used for marking LZ (landing Zones), distress, and so forth.


Name: M34 White Phosphorus

Weight: .14 oz.

Fuse Delay: 4 seconds

Killing Radius: 35 yards.

Notes: The white phosphorus, burns at 4,000 to 5,000 degree F. for up to sixty seconds. Nearly impossible to put out.


Name: M7A3 CS gas

Weight: .14 oz.

Fuse Delay: 2 seconds

Killing Radius: 40 yards.

Notes: This grenade creates a dense cloud of CS tear gas. The grenade burns for about sixty seconds and takes an average of fifteen minutes for the gas to dissipate, less depending on wind and air conditions.


Name: AN M14 TH3 Thermite

Weight: .1 lb.

Fuse Delay: 2 seconds

Killing Radius: 25 yards.

Notes: The extreme heat of this grenade will destroy any equipment it is placed on, as well as ignite any flammable material within two yards. This grenade will burn through half an inch of steel armor and will even burn under water. It burns for forty seconds.


Name: M3A2 Explosive

Weight: .14 oz.

Fuse Delay: 4 seconds

Killing Radius: 2 yards.

Notes: This is a prepackaged demolition charge of 1 lb of TNT. The grenade has no fragmentation.


Name: Mk 1 Illuminating

Weight: .7 oz.

Fuse Delay: 7 seconds

Killing Radius: 200 yards.

Notes: This is a hand thrown flare. The grenade has 55,000 candlepower equivalent and burns for 25 seconds.


Name: Implode

Weight: 1 lb.

Fuse Delay: 5 seconds

Killing Radius: 50 yards.

Notes: Purely fictious. Has a scarlet ring, designating the weapon. Instead of exploding, the anti matter creates a Vaccume, causing matter to be drawn towards it, thus an Impolde effect.


Name: MU 5

Weight: 5 oz.

Fuse Delay: Variable.

Killing Radius: 30 yards.

Notes: Five oz. of FAE (fuel air explosive) used initiall for clearing mine fields, but effects on soft targets totally devestating.
