I remember a time there used to be a lot more reviews here and on Amazon.com. Where did everybody go to voice their opinions? Did that many fans jump ship?

I used to post reviews of OL books on Amazon but gave up as they kept taking them down as I was too harsh on the authors! Well if the current crop of writers for the OL series could do as good a job as Mark did then I would post reviews that said just that.

Truth hurts so they take down my reviews :. I gave up.

Most OL fans are fans of Mark, so when we was no longer able to write the series, we stopped reading and reviewing the books. It's a matter of creator loyalty not brand name loyalty.

I've just not read any DL novels of late, got the last two but there are another 15 books in front to get through.
As soon as Hell Road comes thru, that is going to the top of the list.

Well, silentalbino, you can bet your ass that Hellroad Warriors is gonna satisfy your long-lost DL taste buds.

Yeah, kinda have to agree about the OL series as of late. I tried several, and just could not get into them. I think since Ellis left, I may have finished only 2 or 3 of them.

But, I have to admit, this month's OL sounds cool, as does the next one coming out. Good cover art, too!

I really hope so! With what you and some other reviewers have said i think its gonna kick ass and take names.
Canada seems to have been criminally underused in the series as have other parts of the world.(Scotland, ahem)

Yeah, Canada is explored alot in the newest book. Not just one place is the reader taken to.

It is kinda a return of the war wags - Canadian style!

After just a chapter or two, I was grinning ear to ear the rest of the way through. The companions of old were back!

But with better smarts than even the late, great Laurence James used ta give 'em.

    It is a classic novel.

Hmmm, other than the original first 10 books? When it comes to the other writers that took over through the years since the original author passed, it would have to be titles such as - Bitter Fruit, Skydark, Mars Arena, Vengeance Trail, Plague Lords, Dark Resurrection, Blood Harvest.
