    I dig this rockin' cover!

But does a cool cover make a good novel...?

Anybody out there in the Axlerverse reading this Planet Hate?

    Doh...

I've given up on the OL series and never made the connection. I guess I should check which forum the new posts are appearing in before I go opening my big mouth...

Yeah looking now the cover is OK -can't say I see why there are flames "whisping" out of the barrel like its a flame thrower though?

Yeah, unfortunately I kinda gave up on that series too.

But I still try one every now and then, if the cover and back cover sounds and looks interesting.

Since the new writers took over, I think I may have liked only one or two of them.

REALLY tried to get into the  'Cubed' one, but just couldn't keep interested enough to finish.

Yes I've read it and enjoyed it alot. I think the way Brigid has been developed over the last few books has been a bold but successful move.

Yeah, Planet Hate was a decent one. I have slowly come to enjoy reading Rik Hoskin's OL books. Slowly. Cubed sucked hard. This one was better, but slightly contrived by the fact everyone wound up at the same place, all thanks to a doomie/seer.

People, why have some of you given up on the series? Just because Mark isn't writing anymore? So why are you still on the forums for?

Well, like I've posted here not long ago, I have - really have - tried the newest Outlander books, and just could not finish them.
