     Can a pic from my computer be inserted into a post?

    If yes then how?

    I tried to start a new thread and add some pics I took but I did something wrong and wiped out the whole thread before I had a chance to submit it.

    From your computer? No.  It needs to be hosted online somewhere.  If it's somethign you really really want to post and you don't have access anywhere online to publish it yourself, you can always email it to me and I will be happy to throw it up onto the site.  I mean, assuming it isn't pornographic or illegal, of course.

    curious what would be the proper html code for images since I tried the "[img]" and it failed to work?

    In the text editor where you are typing in your post, you would need to switch from the Design tab to the HTML tab, and then you would enter something like:



    Which would render as:
