Hey Mr. Philipson, the way the Deathlands storyline flows I know that the authors do not get together and discuss the books but I am just curious if you personally knew Mr. Boot and Mr. Pollata?

Just saw this post. No, don't know them.

I would just re-read Shadow world and Breakthrough again, as they are 2 of my favorite in the series.

Don't forget Doom Helix to complete the trilogy, and featuring the single best character in the history of the series: Ronbo!

Did any of the other Authors ever turn up on here?

I think Doug Watchamacallit used to post here under the unusual name of Doug. His ego was almost as large as his creep factor.

Jim

What books did he write? I'm not familliar with any DL author named Doug/

SP,

Those were a couple of my pre "burn-out" DLs.

Just kidding. I was born burned out.

Well, I had stopped reading after Salvation road so I never knew there was a third to the series. Thus I have ordered Doom Helix from Amazon.I picked up reading again at Moonfeast. The book directly after it...

Really did love the whole "Let them eat rock" and the foam and all about shadow world. Just read Breakthrough again last week as a matter of fact.

Really good work AP.

I am assuming the author based this character to you? The book has been shipped from amazon, I am curious in what ghastly way you buy the farm...

Yes, I have been immortalized in print as the one and only Ronbo.

Hard way to die. If it's any consolation I believe Ryan gave your woman Ti some lovin' in the mine after you bought the farm.
