In view of my recent uploads of a few photo's of me doing stuff I enjoy, why don't we all add at least 1 photo of ourselves doing something we enjoy here? REMEMBER THIS IS A FAMILY FORUM AND I'M NOTTALKING ABOUT THAT SORT OF THING
You don't have to show your face if you don't want to -I didn't 'cos I'm scary to look at

Love the MP patch Baz. Very few people out there will get the connection, or the meaning for that matter.

Chris, I've had only two other people mention that patch (AND known what it was) and its been on the back of my pack now for almost three years -and the pack before that as well. Its a desperate plea for times gone by Jim

Jim -
Amen.
I know that they've been working on a new edition, but I sure as hell will not hold my breath as to when it is released.
I would still love to write for the game, but that's not going to happen. I'll have to simply be content to write for Skirmisher games. =)
Chris

Harry, Its not a computer game it is an old Pen and Paper RPG called "The Morrow Project" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Morrow_Project It was in my opinion one of the best post holocaust RPG's ever. We are told a new edition will be published "soon" but in the words of The Smiths... How soon is now !!! I have had the patch for quite a few years now. Jim

My son and I at the Magic Kingdom. He's up to 3,256 rides on Snow White's Scary Adventures now. Sadly, he will never make it to 4,000. The ride will be permanently closed sometime in 2012 as a part of the new Fantasyland expansion.

Yeah. Kind of a long story. The TL;DR; version is that my son is autistic, and he likes the Snow White ride a lot. For the long version... My blog post about the 1000th rideMy blog post about the 2,000th rideThe 3,000th ride was actually pretty miserable (it was very cold, and nothing particularly special happened). The good news is that where he used to be completely obsessed with it, to the point of averaging 18-24 rides per visit and three visits per week, now he is much more interested in walking the whole park and only averages 3-4 rides per visit and maybe three visits per month. So I am thinking when the ride closes permanently it won't be a traumatic thing.

Ron,
I recall you sending me a photo of You, your Son ans Snow White taken on the 1000th ride. I can't believe that was way, way back in 2005, how time flies. I have just re read your blog entry for that day and it still hits me as hard as it did the first time.
All I can add here is this... I and many other folks may have said many things about you (and to you) in the past but one thing that has never been said (and most of all the truest) here is that you Ron are a first class Father. One of, if not, the best I have never had the pleasure of meeting.

Thanks, Jim, that means a lot. I know I have my failings (and many of them have come front and center on this website over the years), but I do love my son more than any words could ever say.

Ron, Don't we all? All that matters really is how we treat those we are closest too Jim

I hope others post images of themselves as its kinda cool to put a image to a poster, though I realize that takes away the whole Anonymity part of posting.

You wanted in action? Here you go. The following three images were taking at the Calgary Entertainment Expo back in June. Me Versus the Predator My Best friend Jamal and I. Can you guess who he's dressed up as? And no, I'm not going as J.B. Dix... instead I went as another 'survivalist'. The stunned guy in the middle is my Sifu, a 4th degree Blackbelt in Shaolin Kung Fu, which both my son and I are students. Chris
