Mine arrived yesterday and although I have not started it I did notice a couple of things right off. First the cover, not the picture but the quality. The card used is about half the guage of that used on all the other books, more like thick paper than card? Secondly is the binding it looks like a 6 year old has set to it with a hot glue gun!! Finally the pages themselves they are again like the cover thin but also of very low quality with a more dark grey type face than black?
Maybe I've got a bum copy but its not good and doesn't bode well for the future?

No need to get rid, just get Chuck and Vic to write it full time. I've had a sneak peek at the next one on amazon.com and Google books and from what I can see its gonna be good. Not to mention a certain Mr Chuck DL novel coming soon.

I'm behind on my DL's at the moment for various reasons and only just started this one on the way home from work yesterday.
I'm only 50 pages in so far and its not grabbing me at all. So many silly mistakes that should have been picked up and changed prior to it hitting the printers.
I'm guessing the original Mat Trans room they jumped to was totally waterproof? How the hell systems were still working after spending so long in humid, wet conditions is beyond me?
Its Operation Chronos not Project Chronos.
Why did JB ask about blasting the door, he has said many times that it was not possible to blow his way through with just conventional explosives?
Yeah I know Ryans pistol is Swiss but I doubt really that the rounds are "... The Swiss bullet drilled..."? (p23)
Docs LeMat has only 1 trigger, you have to move the hammer manually to fire either the scatter gun or the rounds in the cylinder (p27)
Its amazing how Jak and Docs clothing deflected the thorns from the stupid plant mutie yet they could bore right into the armor glass of the chamber?
Finally we have the plant/man/mutie thing. Totally stupid and must rate amongst the top 3 silly creatures the group have ever encountered. I'm not holding out much for the rest of this one, it can only get better but I'm guessing it will get worse?
