    On a post that i can't seem to find again, Wordsmith Reprise in an unofficial capicity hinted, let slip, that a new member would be joining the crew.
     So my question is this, what kind of person would you like to join, what kind of attribute's would they have etc???????

    My suggestion is; a Freezie English Teacher who when s/he hear's incorrect grammer blow's them away with a spas12 combat shotgun and say's something along the lines like "Full stop bee-atch"

    Without doubt it will be someone who has the depth of a paddling pool and be an annoying teenager that thinks they own the world. Either that or a teenage vampire -very IN at the moment.

    I just hope they dont get rid of Doc though.

    She hinted at it in the Guns in Deathlands thread (page 2). Her other thread was merely a hypothetical, "which companion would we want to see go and why?" question.

    I think a female mechanic with great gun and knife skills would be a good addition to the group . Someone either Doc or Jak can travel/sleep well with. Maybe a person of Oriental or East Indian background just to spice things up a bit .

    Maybe add a set of twins with telepathic abilities.

    Or maybe another person from the time of the Trader like someone who was left behind at war wag 1 when they split up in the first book.

    Hopefully the new Companion will not be killed off and will do a "Donfil More" .
    I personally think another strong female character would be good, they don't necissarily have to sleep with Doc/Jak.

    yeah, an interesting new character could add some new and fresh blood to the series. Wish it would be a mutie animal pet.

    I really do doubt Ryan and co would have a "pet" of any sort mutie or not !

    Some new interest would be good, keep them a few books and then move on but I see no need to replace any of the main seven at all.

    I totally agree with you. But having some type of wild animal for a book or two would be way cool! I am an animal lover, and own a cat and a dog, a wolf hybrid, and I just think a mutie animal befriending the group would be a nice change.

    Instead of killing every mutie they come across.

    The new companion will probably be a Deathlands version of the last time GE added a new character to one of their series...Stony Man's TJ Hawkins.

    In other words...bland, boring, and annoying.

    When I read Hell Road Warriors, I could have sworn that after it was revealed that the mechanic Jak was with was radioing the enemy, she would leave with the companions.
