    Okay, I really like the little things in the DL series--like the glimpses we get of what the Companions are carrying in their packs.  It got me thinking, if we were traveling with them through the DL, what would be carry?  The daily needs stuff to stay nicely unchilled is fairly easy to think of, but I'm more curious as to the personal things that might mean something.

    So if you were traveling with them, what would you carry that meant something personal to you?  What would be your good memory (or good juju) things?

    Well besides all the food and basic kits IE.( Fire starter,First Aid, sewing, Mess,Water purifier,Gun cleaning, Tool ,Knife sharpening, fishing, toiletries ) I'd have with me some clean clothes , string,rolls of tape, deck of cards , set of liars dice, cribbage board, gold coins& bars , spare ammo for my use and trade , maybe a spare hand gun for trade/holdout. A good Hat and sunglasses, leather gloves, puzzle book & pen ,compass to name a few things I'd want to have along.

    My personal thing would be my SILVA compass, its been with me since I joined the TA way back in the 80's and still going strong. I never take my rucksack out without it.

    I think I would take my Dad's rank pins, my czech glass flying horse button, and my good juju pendants ('monster hunter' protector medal of Joan of Arc, Isr. guardian key, Grandfather's ring, and WW logo shield).

    And my beloved Condor golok. Very good juju.

    May as well add a few things to my list ,lets see a set of snare wires , a good gut hook skinning knife , a set of light weight metal dishes/pot&pan and a butane stove , folding pocket binoculars , rain coat/cape , storm candles, I would also want some frag & HE grenades and some Tear gas grenades & gas mask.


    lets see I guess I've forgotten the kitchen sink and the extra porter to carry it all for me, but what the heck those are the things I'd want with me .LOL
