Check out this new cover for Deathlands: Dark Fathoms: http://www.daveseeley.com...h4d0dbb74#h4d0dbb74. I assume it is the Deathlands title for next May, although I haven't seen it show up in any official listings yet.

Make that the title for next July, the title for May is Sins of Honor.

That's a very awesome, colorful and mystifying pic. What exactly is that Ryan is holding onto? A huge buoy? A gigantic floating mine? A barnacled space capsule?

    Love the action scene.

    It's an escape pod.

Hooked to an ocean-liner? I don't think I've ever seen that! Wonder what the plot of this will be?

I love how, even in the middle of the ocean, there is still a clutch of Deathlands Daisies growing out of the escape pod. Those things will grow anywhere !

The daisies are a symbol of hope for tomorrow, a rebirth, so they have to be on every cover, which can be a challenge, I imagine. One book has three daisies painted on the bow of a boat, and its name is Daisies III. I thought that was especially creative.

Downrigger Drift. It's more visible in the original art. The book cover really doesn't do any kind of justice to the original art due to the graphics, for one thing.

Wow, I never noticed that before. I think that may be the only un-daisey pic ever.

I just noticed that the word daisies doesn't appear on the book cover.

Huh. You're right - I dug out my copy of the book and checked; you can see most of the picture on the front and back covers, but the boat's name was erased. Odd...

Loving the new book covers. I do wish they would put someone other than Ryan and Krysty on the covers though.

Yeah, I agree. Like the Outlanders covers now mainly being Brigid and Grant on the covers.

Is there a Daisy on Dectra Chain? Its the cover with Ryan & JB in a row boat versus a Great White Shark? I need to check my copy later...

I dont think many of the early DL covers had daisies on them, unless they were behind the isbn panel or off the edge of the cover. I didn't find any on Dectra Chain, Homeward Bound, Crater Lake, Pony Soldiers. Those are the only ones I have checked so far.
