I cant recall a cover ever being like this before.

Perhaps the smoking well is an indication of wishes going up in flames and Ryan is holding his head because he knows as much...

It could also be that he realises in this book he has led the group into a situation they have been in dozens of times before but not remembered until it was too late...

I looked in all catagories on his website, and still don't see what cover you are talking about.

 

I see only the DL covers that have either already came out, or the three or four future ones I've already seen. None have a well. What part of the portfolio is it at? 

Ok, had to do a search for it. I don't see it posted with his other various cover art.

It surely is different. Instead of an action scene or a potential danger, it is a result of something obviously very daunting and hurtful to Ryan. Hmmmm, could there possibly FINALLY be something huge happening in the future of this series?

 Can we be finally be possibly seeing something in this cover art that is going to throw a monkey wrench in the series? I would LOVE that!

did you not do what I suggested with the cut and paste? I guess you enjoyed the hunt instead of going right for the kill -LOL!!

I did try it your way - and didn't work.

And yes, I LOVE the hunt. 

As a hill walker I live by the ideal "always take the easy path".

Couldn't find it either had to go to amazon.com to find it. Look's good, but I don't think he's grieving for anyone. I think he is torn by having to rip his new eye out. Mark my word's!

Hmmm, you might have something there. Hope that is a good one. The series really needs to go on grander, bigger, and fresher type of adventures.
