Anybody out there unfortunate enough to have read this one? 
Cover was the best part. 
Another great idea with some good stuff in it, but no awesome battle sequences like the latest DL, TONS of editing mistakes from cover to cover. Glommed on wording to lots of misspelled words. It seemed even the bloody editor was unenthused to edit the damn book. 
It seems that now Kane SAVES the friggin enemy now as soon as they get shot, even though the lizard man bad guy has tried numerous times to kill him and his team, and had already murdered lots of other innocents in a previous book. (Roll eyes heavenward here - yet again!) 
Overwritten, over thought out, with nary any real awesomeness attached to this book, even though it had countless great ideas going for it, Wings of Death just might be the last OL I try to slag through. Shame, too. This series has such great potential to go further in several directions.
