This is just a heads-up to let everyone know I runumbered the Deathlands titles. Way back when dinosaurs roamed the earth, I set Encounter as number 0 so that it would come before Pilgrimage to Hell in the list of books. It made sense to me at the time to do it that way. However, as the series approaches book #100 it makes the list appear off by one. Since I know that Gold Eagle intends to commemorate the 100th book in some way, I figured I should re-do the numbering so that it would line up. I slipped Encounter in at #46 (which is where it appears in the list of titles inside each book), and pushed forward everything from Gemini Rising onwards by one number.
Looking forward to Deathlands #100 in July of 2011!

The weird thing is, I don't think GE even gives Encounter credit for being one of the "numbered" books. The number associated with the books in the newsletter in the shipments doesn't add up right, as if Encounter had no number, or maybe some other DL book didn't make the count.

Well bugger. Maybe I shouldn't aught to have made that change. Just looked at the newsletter, and it jives with the numbers I had previously. Grr.

So you are saying that the book about Dean coming back is going to be Book #101 ? Or still book #100 which would be book #99, but your book #100 ? I still enjoy the books either way.

Ah, sorry, over the Christmas break I went back in and changed the numbers back so that my numbers match GE's numbers per the newsletter they include in their book shipments. DL #100 is Prodigal's Return, due in September of 2011.

Hey, new guy with a new guy question... Are ya'll on a deal with Gold Eagle to have the new Deathlands shipped straight to you as soon as they come out? I've always thought you'd get a mix of books. I only want Deathlands of course! Can you post the info on where to sign up for that? (maybe it's on the site already and I just haven't seen it?) Thanks!
