What's with the latest batch of DL titles?! "Downrigger Drift"? "Playfair's Axiom"?

If the GE editors are THAT desperate for fresh ideas, here are some free-to-grab DL titles.

    Beeswax Borealis

    Target Teapot

    Clothesline Contretemps

    Showerhead Showdown

    Rhubarb's Rotisserie

    Underwear Ubermensch

    (Don't bother to thank me.)

I think they should just start ripping off Doc Savage titles and see if anyone notices. Just from glancing at my bookshelf:

    Meteor Menace

    Fear Cay

    Murder Melody

    Resurrection Day

Of course, it's no secret that several OL titles were direct homages to Doc Savage ("The Devil On The Moon"/"The Devil In The Moon" being the most obvious).

And Outlanders 15, Doom Dynasty, shared the same title as one of my Doc Savage comic stories.

Haven't read the Doc Savage version but Doom Dynasty is one of my favorite OL novels of all time. There's no connection plot wise between the two is there?

    I miss reading OL...
