I've been listening in collecting them since they came out. My wife is cataloging all volumes. Must have 50 volumes. Stopped by here to see the list.

You will find very few people here with a FULL series to hand yet alone offer it for sale, most of the posters are new to the series themselves or have only been reading them for a few years or so.

I (and I believe Ron the site owner) have been reading both DL & OL since the start (yes I'm that old) and have a full set of both first edition DL and OL books (plus several other series LJ wrote under other pen names), several of which I have are signed by the author (both LJ (DL) & ME (OL)). There is NO way on this earth I would part with any of them.

I may have a few duplicates that I would be happy to sell (plus postage). Let me check and get back to you here.

Hey there BigMike, I am new on here, and looking to sell the ones I have... I have 56 singles that I want to sell as a lot. All are tight/good reading copies or better. Some have no spine wear, but a fair amount have at least SOME visible spine wear. Some may have stamps on the top of the pages/inside front cover, and several have a yellow dot sticker on the front. If you are wanting them for reading... a LOT of enjoyment to be had... and all are earlier than #80, except for #82. I collected them for a while... but downsizing now.

Please email me at tingssonATyahooDOTcom, for a complete list with series numbers and titles. I am asking $2.50 each, plus actual postage... but may go a LITTLE lower

I didn't know there was any second editions ?

Is the overseas volumes different than the standard (for me) Golden Eagle version ?

Forgive me, I know nothing about printing books other than they do have edition numbers in the front.

Some of the earlier books in the Deathlands series have had multiple printings. Most notably, Pilgrimage to Hell was originally published with Jack Adrian listed on the cover as the author, and it included a fold out centerfold with artwork of the original crew in a redoubt on one side, and a map of Deathlands on the other. Future editions show James Axler as the author and do not have the foldout center.

If you go to The Books section of this website and browse through, you will see which ones have had multiple printings listed along the left. The first six books have had three printings each, and then everything else up through Cold Asylum has had two printings.

Thank you. As I am sick with a cold, I have spent the last two days at home spending way too many hours at the computer. Have you seen this ?

Thanks for the tip, just ordered 1st edition for a really low price, and it has inserts. Guy sent me pictures. Plus Jack Adrian as author. Can’t wait until I get it. I am like a kid in a sweet shop.

and it included a fold out centerfold with artwork...
The UK edition did not have the pictures as a fold out instead they were split between two standard pages. A right royal pain as you can't get the full effect without breaking the spine of the book.

I bet the UK editions are now almost impossible to find?

Huh, I had no idea that was the case. I just pulled down my first edition copy to make sure I wasn't smoking crack, but nope - it is definitely a two sided centerfold.

Been at this website for fourteen years now, and I still learn something new all the time...

Yup, and they appear to be written in the Queens English also, none of this bloody "color" & "ax" rubbish
