Is there a map of what the deathlands/outlanders world looks like? If not that would be a cool thing to add or post. Like what the US looks like now with the missing areas (ie California is only a small state now, that sort of thing) as a world that two series are built on, each with massive numbers of books for.. that would be a cool thing I think..

Ideas could be the map showing where the gates are and that sort of thing.. and showing important places from the books.

If this doest exist, maybe I can try and make one in how I would guess it looks like? and where as I go through the books, add/update the map with areas of interest and where gates are.

Yeah the maps are really basic, but some of them are really detailed, like some of the gate places are really detailed, I found a rather good map on the net of what the deathlands may look like..

Wow, where did you find that? I might ask the author if we can add it to the wiki...

Also note that this map is actually called the deathlands and may actually be modeled on what the author believes deathlands to look like

Yeah, looking at another picture (4-Way Cold War), and the fact that it was caused by "an unspecified event", he probably just borrowed the name. Ah well. I've got the map from Book 1; I wish I could scan it so we'd have a non-corrupted copy on the site.

Is that in all the Pilgramages or just certain editions??

Only the first edition, I believe. The one that has Jack Adrian on the cover as the author instead of James Axler.

Why would Northen Quebec be gone, yet most of the islands of the North West Territories/Iqualut would still be there?

    Sense make not..

Population centers, most likely. Assuming, of course, that it was nukes and not just some major natural disaster, or combination thereof. It's obvious that the damage to west coast USA was earthquakes, but in that case, you'd think that most of Alaska and maybe even parts of NW Canada would be too, since the Ring of Fire extends all the way north. I'd chalk that up to a lack of research/knowledge on the artists' part and call it good.

Nah... then most of the coastal areas would be underwater - especially the Gulf and Chesapeake Bay areas (Maryland/Delaware).

Oh, there's a map of the US (not DL) on the archive, here. I'll try to get the foldout from Pilgrimage to Hell scanned this weekend; if I can, I'll send you a copy so you can add the redoubt locations to it. And then I'll see if I can figure out how to add images to the wiki.

There's a print shop not far from where I live, but they're not open weekends. They do open at 8 AM weekdays, so I'll see if I can stop by someday before work.
