Sci-fi entertainment not to be missed!
by The Phantom
This book is shorter than the rest of the novels in the series, but it nevertheless stands tall as another outstanding reading experience from Mark Ellis.
Kane and crew uncover a crazy project hidden in a New Mexico mesa. Another piece of otherworldly technology is being tampered with by a villain that leads to some of the weirdest and most frightening creature/organisms the Cerberus crew has encountered yet. The story moves along with a brisk pace, and Erica Van Sloane is a great addition to the book.
I liked the return to Area 51 installation, where Kane had experienced before in the Imperator Wars trilogy. Good suspense and action, plot twists, and adventure from beginning to end, I very much enjoyed Ghostwalk. Unlike the previous book, Grailstone Gambit, this book actually mentions the current state of the overall story arc of the series, and there is much character and series background to flesh out the story as it moves along.
