Mark Ellis is the author of over 40 suspense and science-fiction novels (with more in the offing) as well as being a comics creator. Under the pen name of James Axler, he created and writes the long-running Outlanders series.
His credentials in the comic book field include critically acclaimed stints on Doc Savage, The Wild, Wild West, H.P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu and many others. He has worked with comic legends such as Jim Mooney, Don Heck, Darryl Banks, Adam Hughes and Doug Wildey. Mr. Ellis also gave the late, great Mike Wieringo his first comics assignment (Doc Savage: Doom Dynasty) in Ellis' capacity of editor of Millennium.
