FYI - Dark Resurrection is out now on Amazon, and I presume it is in the stores as well. I highly recommend this one, you should check it out.

I found the book to be quite good, an exciting change of pace from the other books. the end could have been better, the companions finding all of their weapons in the end was too convinent, the last two pages realy threw me for a loop hope to learn some more about them in the future. -TBS

Thanks JettaManDan (enjoyed your emails, too). One of the most annoying things about working in a stable of other writers on a static series is that by the end of every book things have to go back to where they started. That's a hard and fast rule. Which means J.B. has to find his hat and glasses, Doc his ebony swordstick, and everyone has to recover their original hardware in working condition. An illogical proposition at best. And if you think about it, just how boring would it be if at the end of each book many pages were spent detailing the companions finding their lost or stolen blasters?

really didn't think about the fact tha tthe series really did have to go back to square one everytime so someone coming into the series in the middle or the end has the same sense of the characters...feel dumb for really not thinking about that!!....i guess as this was the 2nd book of that little mini series you did have to put them back in posession of all their normal armaments....well..i learned something new today i should have known all along! Alan, your correspondence to me has made mean even bigger fan of your writings..wish i had contact you when you were in the middle of wirting the books so my request could have been entertained! Thanks for all your help and your quick response. I will continue to look for new works by you. Dan

There's one more of my DLs in the pipeline: Doom Helix. About the dark side of being "a chip off the old Cawdor." It briefly touches on, but isn't about our favorite, much-missed, absent son.

I just started DR yesterday and it's very hard to put down (stupid lousy work!) I've been reading this series for a long time and this two part story is one of the best ever. Two thumbs way up!

I don't know whether to be relieved or saddened that I have to wait over a year for one particular event in that book.

The duology took a very long time to write, and at the time I intended it to be my DL Swan Song. It's most gratifying to hear the books are being well-received.

This book was beyond all my wildest expectations!!! So many twists and turns that it kept me on my toes and wanting to keep reading beyond midnight many of evenings. Having a new heros to root for was a welcome change as were the new enemies. The final chapter throws soooo many possibilities out there ,that I wait with baited breath( what a dumb saying lol) for the next mentioning or reapperance of the Lords of Death. Once again.. HIGHEST of praises to the author.. you shot for the stars and captured the Heavens ( and brought some of them down to Deathlands )
