Will it include a discription and close up's of the various types of bearded clams ?
I'm quite partial to these
Jim
Jim,
You mean the mutie giant mollusks in that LJ book? Can't think of the title, dammit. Major threat to the future of humankind, 400-pounders, five-feet-across, telepathic, telekinetic, once they get a grip never let go, eat-you-up-and-spit-out-the-bones? Yes, the clammies are prominently featured in two-page spreads.
AP.
Not quite, although the ones I have in mind have been featured in many two page spreads over the years

I'm sure I read somewhere that Jaks hometown is now a radiated wasteland, why is this? Did this happen in Strontium Swamp?

That was long ago, back in the LJ days. Lessee... if memory serves, they jumped to the LA redoubt and found it was a wasteland; later, in Deep Empire, they hear that the swamps drying out drove the Cajuns east, and they became pirates (or were somehow involved with the pirates, I forget).

There is supposed to be lots of big East Coast Baronies but apart from Front Royal I hardly think any have been featured? Can you name some more?

I think that there were three others named but I would need to go find my books to be sure . There was two that were destroyed by the microwave power space array in the story where Ryans nephew's Baronie is threatened with destruction by the white coat who controls that space array. Wasn't there also the one where the Baron lived in an old high rise tower where he used human and mutie muscle power to wind up & down his elevator .

Thanks was Casanova ville and Bullrun Ville in the Baronies Trilogy and Willie Ville in Skydark. I think the first two were just your standard size villes but Willie Ville was big.

There's also the one in Florida - Greenglades. New Hampshire had a couple (one of the Pollotta books), too.

Cheers Jim, I've never actually seen it I'm embarrassed to say but I think ill need to give it a shot. Was it originally black and white? I seem to recall seeing a similar scene where someone handcuffed one of the racers without them knowing?
