The best accent is Aberdonian, I'm only 100 miles away but when you have someone with a really thick accent God only knows what they are talking about.
Love the Scouse accent, miss good ol Brookie. "MiiiCk"
Trying to understand Trainspotting etc was a nightmare for me and I'm a bloody Jock.

Apparently not silent. And I must say I'm more than a little miffed on that point. Whilst I may live in Kent I'm as proud a member of the jockanese race than any kilt wearing, blue face painted, haggis muncher. I was in Scotland for a week in November and nipped down to the parliament building to enquire as to my ability to vote. The lovely Polish person I spoke to told me no-ski. Where do you stand on independence?? I think its a bad move myself.

90% against it. I'm first and foremost a Scot but I'm also proud to be a Brit. I think we would be weaker splitting up with the rest of the U.K and Alex Salmond to me is a bit of a clown.

what's pissing me off about the Audio Books is that since book 100, they've been shrinking the storylines.. 5 hours and even a couple have gone down to 4 hours now.

I've tried to ask them at Graphic Audio about why this is and... nothing.

wow,I never though that they would have nothing but an American accent.Granted Jak bein from the south doesn't talk like Doc does bein from Vermont, nor did DonPhil talk like Ryan. But to think that the UK invaded or reinvaded the US after the war is kinda funny.I don't think Alan or Mark ever saw a Ryan Longbottom runnin around killin shit

I have listened to every one of the Death Lands Audio Books. I love them all. I use to have a long commute to work everyday as well, this gave me plenty of time to put on my headphones and zone out on the train as I listened to Ryan and the crew.

I have truly enjoyed all of the characters. How many books in total are there?

I tried the audio books a few years ago, but prefer reading them. J.B. sounded like a hick.

Oh they responded back to me.. Said that there is "less words in the books now, so hence why they are so short".

I wanted to call BS (because they left a Sh*t ton out of Hell Road Warriors) but I bit my tongue.

What a PC answer.

I love the graphic audio Deathlands.
It's a bit off putting when they need to get a fill in actor to do a voice I have grown accustomed to, but it's not bad. I have listened to every book up to the one that was just released this month. (I start it next week).
The audio books are well worth it.
It's also fun when I recognize the voice actors in other products. Colleen Delany, who does Kristy's voice is also a in the game Skyrim quite a bit.

I think J.B. should sound somewhat a hick. He is from Cripple Creek Colorado. Which would probably be cattle or sheep ranching town. I imagine all the ski resorts are gone. By the way Terrance Aselford also does the voice of Doc. Is the Narrator of The Outlanders  and the voice of Kane in that Series.

Although your point rings true and makes sense about what J. B. should sound like, the original author, nor any of the others, have described J. B. having a twang or redneck syllables coming from his mouth. Just sayin'...

I like the audio books, but then that's been the only way I have been involved with this series.

I actually started off with the later numbers in the 100's and have slowly worked backwards but I have recently found the first 5

JB and Ryan are about the only ones who hasn't had a different voice (at least in any of the issues I have)

I like most of the VA's they use especially those in the later issues
