It did start off really bad. A few chapters in it got a little better. Hopefully the next few books are good.

Seems like the start of this book is disliked by everyone. What is it that makes it so bad? Is it boring, or has nothing to hook the reader in, or has them sitting around watching paint dry?

I remember maybe one book in my life I ever tried to read where I couldn't get past the first chapter, but don't remember why or what book it was, lol

   Why are used copies listing for well over a hundred bucks? Low press run? It doesn't make my top 50 DL books.
