It's been a long time in coming, but since I have a novel coming out in the next few months, as well as a great deal of role playing material, I figured it was about time that I create my own author page.
Give me a like, if you're so inclined.=)

What are you reading besides Axlerverse? 23657 85
Started by UrbanSavage
I'm presently on Duma Key by Stephan King. Just finished Darkest Evening of the year by Koontz. I was quite sad to hear that Stephan King is planning retirement next year. Even though I thought 'Cell' was a bust I can't believe he's run out of great stories. Ive been looking for someone who recalls a novel about Post apocalypse America. I can't for the life of me remember the name but one of the main characters is a wrestler or a football star. No it's not 'he stand'. OL its non SK. I don't...

Has anyone noticed this J. J. Abrams TV post-holocaust show coming this fall called Revolution
Looks like a massive EMP blast took out all power on the planet. Lots of crossbows and powder blasters.
They say it is directed by Iron Man director Jon Favreau.
Looks and sounds interesting. But they show and tell almost nothing.

Upcoming novel 2846 2
Started by Outlanders
I know it's been a damned long time since I've posted anything here.
But the reason is that I have a fantasy novel called 'Dark Inheritance' coming out in the fairly near future through Skirmisher Publishing.
Here is the cover for it.
It's about a trio of martial artists who are sent on a trade mission to a nearby city and the situations they get involved in while there.

Ron,
My very best wishes to you and your family over the holiday period. I hope Santa brings an extra special gift of health and happiness to Ben along with all the other gifts I'm sure you have asked him to fill his sack with.
Once again thank you for another year looking after this site and all the hard work and money you have put into it.

The Old Man and the Wasteland - Free Right Now on Kindle 3915 0
Started by Ron Miles
The Old Man and the Wasteland by Nick Cole - currently free on Kindle, and worth every penny. The second book, The Savage Boy, is only 99 cents, and you can pick up the entire trilogy on Kindle for about six bucks. These are excellent books, if you are a Deathlands fan you will love all three of these. Do yourself a favor and at least pick up the free first book and check it out.

Anyone up for a DL/OL quiz Simply pose a question, easy, moderate or hard and the first person to get a correct answer sets the next question. If no right answers after a week, the question setter gets to gloat and set another.

Just finished the latest Dl and OL... 3276 0

...and I have to say, DL wins this round - again.
But I wasn't too crazy about this end-of-the-year last DL. (But OL was much worse, I am sad to say.)
The latest OL had another interesting concept, but after reading half the book, I was so not caring about the storyline, I just quit to read something better in my slush pile of books to read.
Insofar as Motherlode goes: I keep seeing a couple of things that keep happening in this series that I don't get.
1: When Victor Milan pens a DL story,...

I don't know why I never mentioned this book series before, but if anyone out there has not read Peter Clines before, then you are in for a treat!
If you like post-holocaust zombie novels, then Clines' Ex-Heroes is for you. It is now a trilogy, with a 4th book coming out January. I am currently reading the 3rd book.
I'd be surprised if comic-book lover, Mark Ellis himself, didn't know of this series.
It is the perfect blending of zombie apocalypse novels with X-Men like main characte...

SEVEN FORGES review 3691 0
Started by Maximus
For those out there who care: Just finished the brand-new fantasy book Seven Forges by James A. Moore - and it was pretty badass!
If you like Robert E. Howard Conan the Barbarian books, or Joe Abercrombie, then you will love this barbarian epic. Never dull nor boring, Seven Forges introduces a mercenary captain on a mission into a frozen lost land that reminded me a lot of Alaska in Deathlands. A frozen tundra with weird creatures like muties and ancient and mysterious dead cities of th...

I was wondering if any of you live near to any of the locations visited by the DL or OL crews If you do, have you ever gone looking for landmarks or villages/towns listed in the books(assuming they are not all fake names ) to see what they look like in real life.
