New to the series and I have some questions. 12939 57

So I have started the series and I have some questions.1. What is the groups goal They seem to wander aimlessly with no real goal. 2. Why can they not figure out Mat Trans codes. It would seem to me that you could note the settings before leaving and upon arrival write down the destinations. rinse and repeat and you will eventually have codes. use just return after a half hour and you could step through the codes till you know most of them.

I started reading DL because I got one of the books from a friend. The book was Shadow Fortress. I was hooked from then on. I started getting the Graphic Audio books and have been really impressed with them. I started thinking about the novels and the different story arc's. I believe my favorites have been the Marshall Island story line and the Operation Coldfire story line. Anyone else have a favorite

Ryan Cawdor is always described as having one blue eye and black curly 'shoulder length' hair.In my experience the only man to have black hair and blue eyes is Superman (a genetic impossibility).All europeans have either brown/blonde or red hair w/blue/green or brown eyes.Only asians,latinos,spaniards,Indians.islanders,african americans,etc..have black hair.I myself had very long (down to my rear end length) hair for 12 years of my life.I never had an afro,even when it was only grown out to shou...

I am sure all true Death Lands fans thought that the Sci Fi Channel's movie adaption of 'Homeward Bound' was a complete disaster on too many levels to list.) I've been listening to the Graphic Audio productions of the Deathlands books...I'm almost done with Ice & Fire.
I'm curious if there's any photos...like head shots...of the voice actors What would be awesome is video of them actually recording one of the books, but that might be too much to ask.

Greetings! I am new to the site but not the DL series (I started reading it when it was first published). I ran into an old friend recently who told me I had once quoted outhouse graffiti from one of the DL books. It had to do with some type of creature jumping six feet and went something like, 'There's no point in standing on the seat, the _____ here can jump six feet'. Does anyone recall what the creature was Many thanks! Chris

Did anyone else notice that in crater lake the town was named Ginsburg Falls, and their motto was 'Walk the line and you'll do fine'. Then, in ice and fire, Rick Ginsburg said of Snakefish; ' Friendly little town, as long as you walk the line'.

I have not been on these forums in a few years. Likewise, I kind of drifted out of reading deathlands around the time Dean came back. To be honest, I was just not feeling any of the novels I was reading then.
Though the interest has never left me, I am very much so out of it. Has there been any major developments that has happened since that time in the series
Of what is out now can anyone recommend one of the newer (or newest) book(s) from the series that is worth giving a shot...

Hello again and happy New Year! I recently moved to a new apartment (I hate moving by the way...) After the move I started placing my books in their appropriate places on the shelves, when I get to my DL collection I grab the last book in the series -so far that is- and start lining them up... here is when I realize that there is a big chunk of books missing on the 'Series So Far' page, as far as I can tell they just decided that everything between Ritual Chill and Skyraider was equal to so much...
